Covering events never sounded as a very exciting photographic activity. However, it's a nice way to force oneself to work professionally: schedules to keep, client "facing" and communication, logistics and workflows are all issues that need to be managed accordingly. At the end of the day you still get to photograph and to work with people... with sometimes a little money to be made. All in all, event photography is interesting because of the experience it can give in managing various issues that a photographer can face outside of the picture taking process.
